Development and implementation of IT strategy for a newly established company in the media industry Task: Development of the production process, the workflow management and the IT applications, oriented towards the business objectives. Method: "SWOT analysis", development of the skill profiles for IT employees, selection and training of the IT employees. Result: Business was taken up as scheduled after 6 months. Realisation period: 6 - 12 months. Improvement of workflow management with introduction of a new database solution for the catalogue production of a major electronics distributor. Task: Establishing acceptance for the project in the involved departments. Method: "Strategy check" and "Coaching" Result: The introduction was started by means of an activity schedule Realisation period: 3 weeks. Revision of the advertisement department of a major Indian newspaper. Task: To analyse to what extent improvements in the workflow management could be achieved after introduction of the SAP system. Method: "Structured Interviews" Result: Activity schedule for organisational improvements. Realisation period: 2 weeks. Founders coaching Task: Enhancing the skills of the founder of a medium-sized media enterprise in his leading role. Staff expansions had to keep pace with the fast growth. The organisational structure was to correspond to the economic growth as well as the market-induced changes of the portfolio in speed and flexibility. Method: "Coaching, Team Coaching and Change Management" Result: Staff expansions "on both schedule and budget" according to business plan. Realisation period: 6 to 12 months. Team Coaching Task: Strengthening of the leadership skills of a founder and managing partner of a software company. Simultaneous advancement of the team's competences in the areas of distribution and marketing. Result: The number of acquisitions of orders was doubled; the transactions increased by 30%. Method: "Personal Coaching" and team development Realisation period: Attendance for 12 months. |
